One of the major objectives for me over this month is to use as many materials in my stash as possible. Below are my favorites from the first 8 days of the challenge.
The Materials
-Curated Watercolor Palette
-Viviva Colorsheets
-Ecoline Liquid Watercolor
-Stabilo Woody 3-in-1 Pencils
-Khadi Handmade Paper
-Alyonna Creates FOTD Clear Stamp Set
-Stampin Up Block Mounted Stamps
-Versafine Inkpad
-Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magicals
-Caran d’Ache Neocolor II Artist’s Crayons
-Resist Crayon
Here are the materials for this two week span of time. I had loose goals going into this month. I wanted to play with color combinations and I wanted to use more of the supplies I have in my studio. One of the most difficult things for many artists is falling in love with supplies and developing a habit of hoarding. That doesn’t serve us well as some supplies start to degrade over time. I typically try and use my in person classes that I teach as a way of sharing my supplies with others but because all the classes are virtual now, I have to make a greater effort in using what I have. Challenges like #uptober and the 100 day project that I completed earlier this year are perfect avenues for doing just that.
